Why
is the Antichrist going to be so different from all of the other dictators
before him?
5 and there was given to him a mouth speaking
great things and blasphemies; and there was given to him authority to continue
forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth for blasphemies
against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, even them that dwell in
the heaven. (ASV)
Revelation 13:5-6
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O day-star,

Isaiah 14:12-14
4 he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all
that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of

2 Thessalonians 2:4

Acts 12:21-23
Satan's
sin was pride, in that he desired to make himself as God. When Satan tempts
men, God's creation, to declare themselves to be god, it is utter, direct
blasphemy against God. Who else in history declared themselves to be gods?
3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into a
wilderness: and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet-colored beast, full of
names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. (ASV)
Revelation 17:3
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou
wonder? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that
carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and the ten horns. (ASV)
Revelation 17:7
9 Here is the mind that hath wisdom. The seven
heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth: 10 and they
are seven kings; the five are fallen, the one is, the other is not yet come;
and when he cometh, he must continue a little while. (ASV)

are these seven Caesars (the original Greek word translated as the English word
kings)?
