Antichrist True Ancestry

Do not expect the knowledge of the true birthplace or ancestry of the Antichrist to be publicly known. I can assure you that he will almost certainly conceal this information from the general public, for at least two reasons.

Firstly, if the knowledge of the Antichrist's origin becomes very widely known before he rises to power, it will protect people from being deceived by him. This knowledge will by no means stop his ascendancy but will save some people who might otherwise be lost. It is my hope that this book will aid in this purpose.

Secondly, the Antichrist will be Satan's vehicle to counterfeit Christ and the works of Christ in every possible way. With that in mind, let us take a look into Christ's physical birthplace and what was known about it by the general public at the time.

At this point, I will digress momentarily, that I may deal with another, related matter.

At least one person, with the explicit purpose of attacking the credibility of Jesus being the Christ, has written a book insinuating that Jesus was only a man who posed as the Christ by deliberately setting out to fulfill the Old Testament prophecies concerning the promised Messiah. If this were the case, why wasn't the birthplace of Jesus (which was legally documented) made public knowledge by Jesus? If Jesus was only a man masquerading as the Christ, the more widely known the fact that his birthplace fulfilled the prophecies; the more he would accomplish such a purpose.

Instead, there is no record in the New Testament that Jesus Himself disclosed His actual birthplace to anyone or that He attempted to correct the common (at that time) misconception that He was not only from Nazareth but also had been born in Nazareth. All the evidence indicates that He deliberately kept this fact a secret while He was on the earth physically.

The anti-Christian thesis propounded in such a book is in direct contradiction to the evidence of the Scriptures, which fact is of necessity ignored by its author.

Why did Jesus allow the knowledge of his actual birthplace to remain unknown to the public, causing dissension among the people who heard His ministry?

Jesus therefore perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force, to make him king, withdrew again into the mountain himself alone. (John 6:15)

The main problem Jesus had during His ministry was that of getting people to accept Him not in an outward way but in an inward way, in their hearts as the Christ.

Some of the people, due to His outward signs and miracles, wanted to set Him up as a king in the fashion of the world. They wanted Jesus as a human king to rally around and to lead them in an uprising against the Roman Empire, which had subjugated Israel.

This was what they wanted and was not in accordance with the purpose of Jesus' ministry. The people were further misled because they were confused over the Old Testament prophecies concerning Christ, which not only prophesied His first coming as the Savior but also His Second Coming as the King of kings.

They needed a king right then, and this interfered with their being able to accept Him for what He really was — the Christ. Undoubtedly, this is why He kept the knowledge of His birthplace hidden: those who would accept Him as Christ would do so anyway, but those who wanted Him for what He could do for them would be deterred.

In conclusion, both for Scriptural and logical reasons, we can expect that the true birthplace and ancestry of the Antichrist will certainly be hidden from public knowledge.
